For Instagram ads, you can choose from three ad objectives:
1 clicks to your website,
2 mobile app installs and
3 video views (up to 30 seconds in length).
For this example I chose clicks to website because I think most of you will benefit from that.
Go to your Facebook business manager: https://business.facebook.com/ (You need this to make an Instagram Ad.) Find the Instagram Ads account, click create ad. In this example I made a real ad set and it performed exceptionally, however I am going to disguise the company because it's more fun.
Now you get to define your audience! Type in a bunch of things that Hot Dog loving Los Angelites like.
Upload your images. If they’re not BRAND NEW, jump off a bridge. Reusing old images is like looking in the garbage for your lunch. Its fine if you’re a derelict.
UNCHECK EVERYTHING ON THE RIGHT THAT ISN’T INSTAGRAM. IF YOU DON’T DO THIS YOU ARE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. IF YOU THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY I WILL COME FIND YOU AND TAKE AWAY SOMETHING YOU LOVE.
Next hit “Place Order!”
Check the ads to see if they’re all approved after about 15 minutes. I usually use 5 or 6 different images. Check again after 1-3 days to see which ones are doing the best, turn off the ones that aren’t doing as well to get more views for your dollars.
